It represents the largest acquisition batch of this type of system in a single contract in Spain.

The Aeronáutica SDLE Antidrone system has already been operated by the Civil Guard since 2019. It is a widely tested system, which has demonstrated its robustness and great effectiveness against a limitless number of drones.

How do Aeronáutica SDLE antidrones work?

The client required for this contract a fast deployment and portable rifle-shaped system with a range of 1,000 meters jamming. The equipment is fully customizable, so it could incorporate omnidirectional inhibition antennas, very useful for threats that have not been previously detected, which allows simultaneous neutralizations of multiple drones attacking from any direction.

The equipment is portable and works by jamming the signal from drones that are identified as potential threats through directive antennas.

These equipment developed by Aeronáutica SDLE allow to disrupt a limitless number of drones, interrupting all communications between the drone and its ground control station, which supposes neutralizing the transmission of video link, telemetry, command and control, and even satellite signal.

Confidence in Spain brand grows

Aeronáutica SDLE manufactures drones and their countermeasures, which protect against malicious and criminal use of unmanned aerial systems. The Spanish company has multiple versions of this type of security systems, both detectors and jammers, for portable use, integrable in vehicles or in fixed locations.

New developments for new safety needs

Drones are a revolution in the aeronautical field, since they allow innumerable applications in civil, industrial and security areas.

But nowadays  they have become very accessible to the general public, which can become a serious threat if misused. The industry, and all kinds of institutions and critical infrastructures, need infallible protection measures against malicious use of drones, such as espionage, data theft, physical or cyber-attacks, and even terrorism.

Ángel Castro, Aeronautica SDLE Director, has declared the company is very proud that these portable antidrones are at the service of public security in the country.

Aeronáutica SDLE offers different infrastructure security solutions, and aims to evolve with this technology, which is in continuous development.
