Aeronáutica SDLE Integrates Artificial Intelligence into its Drones

SDLE is working on equipping its unmanned aerial systems (UAS) with artificial intelligence. The systems will be able to detect targets and recognize behaviors to serve in social applications, in addition to surveillance and security missions.

By simulating human behavior and intelligence, UAS equipped with artificial intelligence -or machine learning- can detect shapes and spaces. Drones with this capability are already providing solutions in applications such as healthcare in remote areas, environmental care, precision agriculture, search and rescue or infrastructure inspection.

In addition to UAS designed for emergency situations, facilities surveillance or special security operations -the last development by Aeronáutica SDLE in this field is the Individual Recognition Platform to operate indoor- the Madrid-based company is working on software solutions with the future demands in mind.

Personal robot: small autonomous UAS for personalized missions to raise the quality of life in the daily environment. The system will receive orders such as going to a point to pick up an order and will perform the tour, its mission and return operation autonomously, after receiving the alert programmed by the user.

Analytical robot: this robot will analyze the necessary parameters to indicate the user health status. By studying this data, the device will try to motivate the user towards a healthier and more beneficial lifestyle.

Robotic agriculture: crops maintenance can be done in a completely automated way. The intelligent robots will plan, plant, irrigate, fertilize and harvest, based on analytics of a continuous information flow received through the sensors. An interesting utility will be food hygienisation increasing.
